Meet Dr. Scott Chamberland
Dr. Scott Chamberland has provided optometric care in Middle Tennessee since 2009. He moved to Tennessee with his family in 1992, graduated from Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, earned a bachelor's degree in microbiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston in 2008, where he served as class president.
His clinical training covered primary care, ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, low vision and pediatrics. He is a member of the Tennessee Optometric Physicians Association and the American Optometric Association, and has provided eye care on mission trips with groups including Remote Area Medical, Prevent Blindness Tennessee and the Nashville Homeless Coalition, as well as a 2019 Essilor Vision Foundation trip to St. Maarten that provided more than 1,000 eye exams to schoolchildren.
