The Center for the Arts is a community arts organization on West College Street in downtown Murfreesboro. Its stated mission is to enhance the quality of life in the community by providing cultural and economic enrichment through the arts. The Center stages musicals and plays ranging from classics to contemporary work with community performers, runs a rotating gallery featuring local and regional artists, and offers educational programming including youth summer camps, adult classes, and vocal instruction through its Vocal Academy. Auditions and performance opportunities are open to aspiring and experienced performers.
