The Consolidated Utility District of Rutherford County (CUDRC) provides potable water service throughout Rutherford County, supplying drinking water for approximately 172,615 residents across residential, industrial, commercial, and governmental customers. The district maintains over 1,400 miles of water distribution infrastructure and also operates a decentralized wastewater treatment and disposal system for areas where city sewer is not available.
