About Doggie's Day Out
Doggie's Day Out is a locally owned dog bakery, grooming salon, daycare, and overnight boarding facility at 424 Medical Center Parkway in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, serving dog owners across Rutherford County since 2009. Founded by Denise King, the facility combines an on-site dog bakery that makes fresh, dog-friendly cookies, treats, and custom birthday pupcakes with full-service pet care under one roof. Its grooming department provides baths, breed haircuts, nail trims, and spa treatments for dogs of all sizes without requiring a group-play assessment. For dog daycare, staff supervise cage-free indoor and outdoor play yards where dogs are grouped by size, age, and activity level. Overnight boarding guests participate in daytime play groups and sleep in individual evening quarters outfitted with raised cots, stainless steel bowls, and blankets, with boarding drop-off recommended before noon. Before a dog's first daycare or boarding visit, Doggie's Day Out requires a temperament assessment, owner-provided veterinary records showing current Rabies, DHLP, and Bordetella vaccinations, and spaying or neutering for dogs past puppyhood.
