About This Event
Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation hosts the Barfield Bash, a Halloween carnival for all ages at Barfield Crescent Park. Families can buy tickets to play games for "ghost bucks" and trade them for prizes, with separate tickets for the Cake Walk and bounce house, and a few free activities in the ballfields. Local businesses hand out candy along the Avenue of Treats, and concessions and food trucks sell food. The same nights, the park runs Old Scream Road, billed by the city as Murfreesboro's scariest hayride and possibly too scary for small children, and the family-friendly Not So Haunted Hayride; hayride tickets are $5 per person.
