About This Event
Discovery Center at Murfree Spring invites nature lovers, families and curious explorers to a community BioBlitz, a hands-on citizen science event where participants of all ages work together to find and document as many living species as possible. Participants search the Wetlands and Lytle Creek for birds, insects, plants, fish and more, learning from local naturalists along the way. No experience is needed; the Discovery Center suggests comfortable walking shoes that can get muddy, a water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray and a smartphone or camera for photographing finds.
