Discovery Design Time at Discovery Center at Murfree Spring takes up needle and thread for Burlap Tapestry, a Fall on the Farm-themed session on the craft of sewing. Guests practice embroidery techniques on burlap hoops, including the running stitch, stem stitch, back stitch and split stitch, and build vocabulary while strengthening hand-eye coordination. Discovery Design Time is a weekly Thursday program with a new theme each session.
