About This Event
Invasive Plant Removal Day is a volunteer workday clearing invasive plants from the riparian areas around Murfree Spring. Outdoor Murfreesboro provides hand tools such as loppers, saws, snips and rakes, and has work gloves to lend. Sturdy closed-toe shoes are required; sandals, Crocs and flip-flops are not allowed. Long pants, long sleeves, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and a water bottle are recommended. Volunteers must be 18 or older.
