Open Studio: Haniyfa Muhammad Branka
About This Event
Don’t miss the debut event of our 2026 Artist in Residence program.
Join Artist-in-Residence Haniyfa Muhammad Branka as she creates new mixed-media work right inside the museum. Haniyfa works in collage, printmaking, clay, metal, and fiber, layering materials to explore identity, care, ritual, and the rhythms of everyday life. Her work celebrates storytelling and the quiet power of the handmade.
As board president of the Murfreesboro Art League and a visual arts instructor at Carpe Artista, she is passionate about expanding access to the arts and inspiring the next generation of makers.
Come observe, ask questions, and see creativity in motion.
