Krispy Kreme announced on Sept. 23 that the Original Glazed Coffee Flavored Doughnut is available Saturday, Sept. 26, through Tuesday, Sept. 29, at participating shops.

"Coffee and doughnuts are already a perfect pair, so bringing coffee flavor to our iconic Original Glazed doughnut makes National Coffee Day even sweeter," said Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme's chief brand and product officer.

Krispy Kreme's deals during the promotion:

• Through Sept. 29: Buy any dozen at regular price and add a dozen Coffee Flavored or Original Glazed doughnuts for $5. The limit is two per guest in the shop or drive-thru, and one in the app with code COFFEE.
• Tuesday, Sept. 29: A free small or medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase, limit one per guest.

Krispy Kreme Churro Doughnut Dots

Krispy Kreme also added Churro Doughnut Dots on Sept. 22 as part of its autumn lineup: eight cinnamon-sugar Doughnut Dots with a dulce de leche dipping sauce, for a limited time. "Churro Doughnut Dots are such a fun way to bring a little extra sweetness to fall," Holder said.

Krispy Kreme Murfreesboro Hours

The Murfreesboro shop is at 2231 Medical Center Parkway and opens at 6 a.m. daily. It closes at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The drive-thru closes 15 minutes earlier, and the Hot Light is listed from 7 to 9 a.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. daily.
