The Promise Garden Ceremony is a signature part of Walk to End Alzheimer's events. It takes place at 9:00 a.m., just before the walk begins, and gives participants a shared moment to recognize the people in their lives affected by the disease.
Participants register through the Alzheimer's Association's online event page, where they can walk individually, start a team or join an existing one, and collect donations. On-site registration is also available when the venue opens at 8:00 a.m. The Association's page does not list a registration fee or a fundraising minimum.
All money raised supports the Alzheimer's Association.
The walk is held at the MTSU Hayes Soccer Complex on Greenland Drive, on the east side of the Middle Tennessee State University campus. Visitors unfamiliar with campus should allow extra time to find parking before on-site registration opens.
