Big Bad Breakfast is a chef-driven breakfast and lunch restaurant in downtown Murfreesboro, located at 113 E. Main St. in the space that was home to City Cafe, which closed in January 2025. The Murfreesboro Pulse reported that the restaurant planned to open around the third week of September 2026, serve lunch in addition to breakfast, and operate seven days a week. The brand is known for from-scratch biscuits, house-cured bacon, fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and its Bloody Mary.
