About This Event
Discovery Center at Murfree Spring hosts a session of Discovery Center Creekkeepers, an after-school environmental science program for 6th through 8th graders focused on the streams that shape the Murfreesboro community. Creekkeepers meetings include trail camera studies, habitat cleanup and restoration, iNaturalist walks, seasonal species analysis, talks with professionals and a stream biotic survey of Murfree Spring and Town Creek. The program is free, funded by iNaturalist and an ASTC Seeding Action grant, and the Discovery Center notes that spots fill fast.
