This Wilderness Station program is tied to a long-term effort to inventory macrofungi such as mushrooms and conks in Barfield Crescent Park and Rutherford County, engaging students and the public in research that feeds public biodiversity databases. It is free for ages 14 and up, needs no registration and counts toward Tennessee Naturalist continuing education credit.
