Goblins and Goodies in the Park
About This Event
Goblins and Goodies at the Park is the City of La Vergne's annual free candy trail at Veterans Memorial Park, where the city expects thousands of children to trick-or-treat along the park trail. Local businesses and organizations sign up to host booths decorated in a family-friendly Halloween theme, handing out treats from candy to Goo Goo Clusters and often setting up games. Pavilion A hosts a Zombie Dance with family-friendly Halloween music and a costume contest at 1:30 PM in four age groups (4 and under, 5–9, 10–14, and 15 and up), with $75, $50 and $25 gift cards for the top three in each group. The entire event is free to the public.
