About This Event
Murfreesboro Airport hosts its annual STEAM Festival, a free morning for learning how airplanes fly and what the airport does for the community. Scheduled exhibitors include the 101st Airborne AH-64 drone division, a Tennessee Army National Guard UH-60 Black Hawk, Middle Tennessee State University's jet and piston engines and training aircraft, Murfreesboro Police technology, Murfreesboro Fire Rescue's Ladder 6, a Vanderbilt LifeFlight medical helicopter and the local Veterans of Foreign Wars post. Sponsors provide free hot dogs, chips and bottled water while supplies last.
