About This Event
Stories of Service and Sacrifice is a ranger-led walk through Stones River National Cemetery, where park staff share the stories of soldiers who fought, and in some cases died, for the nation's founding ideals of freedom and equality. The program is part of the park's America 250 commemoration. Walks last about 60 minutes and begin at the visitor center flagpole. Visitors who cannot attend a scheduled walk can explore the same stories on their own through the National Park Service's self-guided version at go.nps.gov/service-sacrifice.
