Middle Tennessee State University's Todd Art Gallery is showing the 2026 Department of Art and Design Faculty Biennial, an exhibition of recent work by 24 of the department's faculty artists and designers. The show opened September 8 and runs through Saturday, October 3, 2026.
As the name indicates, the Faculty Biennial comes around once every two years, giving the public a periodic look at what the people teaching MTSU's art and design students are making in their own studios.
According to MTSU, the Biennial spans contemporary art, fine craft, design and illustration, reflecting the range of disciplines taught in the department. With two dozen artists represented, the show offers one of the broadest single views of the university's art faculty.
