About This Event
TAB meets every 1st Saturday of the month from 2:30-4:30pm in the 1st floor club room at Linebaugh Public Library!
2026 Meeting Changes/Cancellations:
Feb. 7th– delayed to 3:30-4:30pm due to Bluey Day
Apr. 4th– CANCELLED due to Easter holiday
May 2nd– delayed to 3:30-4:30pm due to Free Comic Book Day
July 4th– CANCELLED due to Independence Day holiday
Sept. 5th– CANCELLED due to Labor Day holiday
Teen Advisory Board (or TAB) is a great way for teens aged 13-18 to get involved in their community, make their voices heard, and earn service hours! Think of it like a “student council” for the local library. We plan events (like the ones on this page!), curate a monthly book display, collaborate on outreach/marketing/social media initiatives, and more!
TAB looks awesome on a resume & each meeting counts for 2 volunteer hours, plus you get exclusive volunteering opportunities for our biggest events! That means if you attend every TAB meeting and take advantage of the bonus events, you can earn up to 24 extra volunteer hours per year!
