About This Event
Oaklands Mansion hosts a two-day Victorian hair work workshop on November 14 and 15, made possible by a Tennessee Arts Commission grant that discounts admission 60 percent for up to 10 participants. Students learn the wire work method to make a hair flower and the foundational techniques of traditional table braiding, and enjoy a behind-the-ropes tour of the mansion. All materials are included, and the workshop is for ages 10 and older. Admission is $100 per student, regularly $250.
