Oaklands Mansion hosts its 2nd Annual Fall Art & Craft Fair on Saturday, September 5, 2026, opening the mansion grounds to local artists, makers and vintage vendors. The fair runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 900 N Maney Ave in Murfreesboro.
The event is in its second year, following a first edition that established the fair as an early marker of the fall season on the mansion's calendar.
Vendors fill the lawn with fine art, handmade crafts and vintage items. Local food trucks serve throughout the day, and live music plays across the grounds.
For visitors who want to see inside the antebellum house itself, self-guided mansion tours are available for $5 during the fair. That pairing β a craft market outdoors and a historic house tour indoors β is what distinguishes this fair from the other weekend markets around Rutherford County.
No reservations or tickets are required to attend the fair. Visitors can arrive any time during the six-hour window. The $5 charge applies only to those who want to take a self-guided tour of the mansion.
Oaklands Mansion is one of Murfreesboro's principal historic sites and runs public programming year-round, including Flashlight Night during the Halloween season and the 12th Annual Oktoberfest later in September. The grounds also host vintage baseball games and seasonal holiday tours.
