Patterson Park Community Center hosts the 6th Annual "Party in Pink" Zumbathon on Saturday, October 24, 2026, a two-hour Zumba session held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and participants are encouraged to wear pink.
Now in its sixth year, the Zumbathon has become a recurring part of the fall schedule at Patterson Park. Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation frames the morning as a way for the community to join the fight to end breast cancer.
The event takes place at Patterson Park Community Center, 521 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Murfreesboro, TN 37130. The full listing is on the 6th Annual Party in Pink Zumbathon event page.
The Zumbathon combines a group dance-fitness workout with a celebratory atmosphere. According to the city, the morning includes giveaways and door prizes, and snacks and water are provided for participants. Pink attire is encouraged throughout.
Entry is by general admission to Patterson Park Community Center or with a facility pass. The city's listing does not give a separate event price, and it does not name a specific organization receiving funds. Questions go to Patterson Park Community Center at 615-893-7439.
October 24 is packed across the county. After the Zumbathon, visitors can head to Cannonsburgh Village for the 50th annual Harvest Days, or to La Vergne for the Goblins and Goodies candy trail. More fitness options are collected in the gyms and fitness guide.
